A lot of the "human hair" that is sold in stores is not actually human hair. You are only required to have 1% real human hair in order for it to be called "Real Hair". 99% of packaged hair or beauty supply store hair is not 100% real human cuticle hair. That is why it does not last a very long time. After 1 or 2 shampoos it's time to throw it away and buy more.

When you first open the package the hair looks nice and smooth.. yes, but why? Well because its coated with silicon to add shine and body to the hair. Micoré International Hair Review - IndiSylk Body Wave

The Micoré International IndiSylk (Brazilian) line is extremely easy to work with and maintain. The IndiSylk line comes in five different wave patterns. The Body Wave pattern is gorgeous just the way it is straight out of the box. It's already washed, conditioned, curled and ready to install.

The IndiSylk is the least expensive of the three Micoré collections.. but there is nothing cheap about this hair.  It was developed with the same care and attention as the Gold and Platinum lines. The only difference is that the cuticle layer is stripped.. which, in my opinion,  makes it even more manageable.

I have not experienced any tangling, knotting, matting, or shedding. And like all Micoré lines.. the hair has no odor.

You will never get bored with this hair! It can be flat ironed straight or curled into any desired wave or curl pattern as shown below:

The hair also holds a curl really well and gives you plenty of body and bounce. And the best part... the IndiSylk line is backed by a 90 day warranty against tangling and shedding.

To restore the original wave pattern after blow drying, flat ironing or using a curling iron all you have to do is wash the hair again. Shampoo and condition the hair and lay it flat on a towel to dry. The wave pattern will return on its own. You can also define the S pattern with your fingers to shape it back into place and then leave it overnight to dry....

And in the morning it'll be back to normal...

You can color the hair as well (but this will void the warranty).
